We have two major themes for runners!  The Cross-County Runs are the signature events where teams of 6 and elite ultra-marathon runners transverse the county through parks, along roadsides and down trails.  

The McCloud Park Mini-Relay is a new addition and perfect for beginning and novice runners. The mini-relay is a 12-mile course, totally enclosed within McCloud Nature Park that can be conquored by teams of 2, 3 or individual runners.  Both the Cross-County Relay and the McCloud Mini-Relay are amazing events that will challenge runners in all the best ways!

Cross-County Runs
Teams of six collectively running over 60-miles.  Each runner will run three legs for a total distance of approximately 10-miles.  All members must be at least 14 years old on race day to compete on a relay team.

A team may register under one of the following race divisions:

Men:	All six relay team members are male
Women:	All six of the relay team members are female
Mixed:	Three men & three women
Men's Masters:	All six relay team members are male and all are age 40+
Women's Masters:	All six of the relay team members are female and all are age 40+
Mixed Masters:	Three men & three women all age 40+
High School:	All six relay team members must be enrolled in, or having just graduated high school within the past seven (7) months.
College:	All six relay team members must be enrolled in, or having just graduated from college within the past seven (7) months.
Clydesdale:	All six relay team members regardless of gender or age must weigh over 200lbs.
Open:	Any mix of age & gender regardless of age.
Corporate:	Any age and gender composition, this division is for corporations
Ultra Marathon:	One runner, 52.4-miles!  Must be over 18 to run as an Ultra Marathon Runner.

Awards:
Division Winners: Each member of the winning team for each division will receives a winner’s medal.  Additionally, each winning team get’s to plant a tree commemorating the event at our nature park hosting the finish line (don’t worry, we pre-dig the hold and help with the planting, it’s actually a lot of fun!)

Corporate Division Winner: The winning team in the Corporate Division will also receive a traveling trophy with their name engraved on a plate.  Yes, you get to show off the trophy for an entire year but you have to come back and defend your trophy in future years or surrender it to the corporate winner the following year.

Men:	All relay team members are male, or a single runner
Women:	All relay team members are female, or a single runner
Mixed:	At least one male and one female on a team
Men's Masters:	All team members are male and all are age 40+
Women's Masters:	All team members are female and all are age 40+
Mixed Masters:	At least one male and one female or a team
