Welcome to the Park2Park Relay!
The Parks Foundation of Hendricks County invites you to join in the second running of the Park 2 Park Relay on:
The Park2Park Relay is a race for ambitious runners looking for a new challenge! Teams of 6 will run approximately 60 miles in a relay style running event that will take runners through communities, across countryside and through challenging park trails. The ultimate reward? Bragging rights! Those who finish this race will have completed a challenge few of your running friends have. You don't need to be an elite runner to compete, from casual runners to serious competitors, all are welcome!
Join us on the same date: Saturday, June 16, 2012 for a mini-relay run within the boundaries of McCloud Nature Park. Single runners or teams of 2 or 3 are invited to challenge themselves on the scenic trails of McCloud Nature Park on a 12-mile course. The relay teams will take on the course in 2-mile legs and of course the single competitors get to take on the whole course solo. The mini-relay is a great way to enjoy the spirit of the Park2Park relay on a more compact course. Competitors will celebrate the end of their run along with the Cross-County runners in the pavilion area of the park enjoying food and music and of course, sharing all the stories from the challenging run!
